Robert Gibson, Whitehaven, England tall case clock, 8 day, time and strike, weight driven movement in an inlaid mahogany case with rope turned columns flanking trunk and hood. The painted iron dial has moon phase and second's bit, c1820
CONDITION:
the case has a very old, possibly original finish with two missing outer finials and one replaced center finial. The dial retains its original paint. This is a "short door" case from the midlands, and with pleasant proportions. Ht 90"
